Q: I have a small business and I rely on communicating with people outside of the office. I’d like to use online meeting software, but I’m not sure which one is the best, particularly when it comes to value. Can you help?

What to look for when selecting an online meeting software
Each online meeting program offers a different set of features to help you conduct business. That’s why it’s important to consider these three things when you’re shopping around:
1. Number of participants allowed. The number of people you have in a meeting will probably depend on the size of your company. At a small company it’s most likely not necessary to have a service with more than 25 people, and you might even be able to save money on a plan that limits you to 10 participants, such as VoxWire’s $19.99/month plan.
2. Presentation tools. Do you want a virtual whiteboard everyone can write on during a meeting? How about the ability share files or remote control of someone else’s computer to access documents? These are the kinds of tools that are included in some online meeting software, and that’s why it’s important you make sure the program you select has the necessary tools for your meetings.
3. Price. It’s important to get value for your money, especially when you’re running a business. Many services offer competitive prices, but the cheapest plan isn’t always the best. That’s why it’s important to make sure the features you want are included. Another thing to consider is the length of the free trial. All of the programs we reviewed came with at least a 14-day free trial, and some have as many as 30 days. Consider trying different ones to see which you like best.

How do I insert a YouTube video in a Adobe Connect Pro meeting?
I'd recommend actually downloading the movie file, and then upload it to connect. That way, it will stream from the connect server to the participants, both audio and video.
Another way, not doable with YouTube though, is to use Refined Data's custom pod Talking Stick - that allows you to enter a video stream/URL and transmit it in the connect room.
