What is effective communication?For companies, and business meetings, it is becoming increasingly important to ensure your organisation has effective communication. Research also shows thatcommunication skills, including written and oral presentations, as well as an ability to work with others, are the main factor contributing to career progression and job success in companies of any size and industry.

Communication is successful when the right skills have been developed, which include inspiring spoken, written and electronic communications to individuals and groups.

Typically vo-tech courses are offered at local public community colleges.(Avoid ANY for-profit schools). The vo-tech students do NOT earn ANY college degrees, but rather vocational certificates. The vo-tech courses can be as short as several weeks or up to two years. None of the vocational classes can be expected to be at college level. Thus, you cannot earn a vo-tech certificate with any expectation of the credits transferring to a 4 year university. As for the other question. There are loads of choices but you need to think what you actually want. Speech training for clarity and pronunciation. Or presentation skills for speeches, lectures, even tv appearances. What you seem to more talking about is team building and leadership skills rather than communication a such. For leadership, you are looking more for management courses.
